Pooper Bowl XLI
Bear down Chicago Baby! You are cutest boy in history!! It is Super Bowl Sunday and I think the coldest day of young Domingo's life. Here he is posing in our lame excuse for Bears wear, a teddy bear and a little bear on his outfit. We are having some friends and their kids over for pizza and to watch the game, I'm assuming the guys will watch the game and the girls will watch the babies, typically sexist I know, but it's what I'd rather do anyway.
I had to take a little break to get ready, make dinner, socialize, put Domi to sleep, say farewell to our guests and now I'm back. It looks like the Bears aren't going to pull this one off, but it's not quite the 4th quarter yet, and hope springs eternal. It's fun that Chicago is in the Super Bowl, as I'd probably have to sit through it anyway and this way it makes it at least interesting. Win or lose, it was a good excuse to be social and my chili and pizza were pretty tasty. Domingo had fun watching the big kids play, pretty soon he'll be able to play along.

loved hearing about your game day. i know that domi will learn to live with the chicago teams in the way we all have. we are much stronger people because we learn how to deal with disappointment. the tref-norbs watched the first half and then left. couldn't see the road, returned. next morning, left, no heat in car, can't see the road. returned. finally after a couple of trips to the dealer, were able to head to oak park. love, us
