Here are some photos from CornFest '08, sweating our booties off, and literally 4 days later, bundled up like nobody's business. Welcome October!
After all the heavy rain, it was mosquito city in Morris. Because I was afraid of putting repellent on his face, Domi got a ring of bites around his eye. Luckily the mosquitoes have all frozen to death by now. (kidding about the lucky part)
Inside the bounce house, or globo loco, or royal bouncer. What ever you want to call it, Domi calls it fun!
From the department of what were we thinking:
it was well after nap time, standing in line for 30 minutes in the sweltering sun next to the "race game" playing "who let the dogs out" at ear shattering decibels, all to go on a 60 second ride. Was the bee ride worth it Domi? I think the jury is still out.
And we're back. Chicago, SUPER windy, in our awesome new wheels, and mama overcompensating for taking Amalia out yesterday with just a dress on. (It had long sleeves! I had a blanket over her legs! Don't judge!)
Loves to "feed" the animal rides in the sandbox sticks.
Wearing 6-9m clothes already. Will get more than one wear out of this Halloween outfit. It's October 1st, totally appropriate wardrobe choice!

the bee ride was well worth it to gramma. great picture. sjn
has anyone else noticed that baby Amalia bears (bares?) some resemblance to baby heather of 30 or so years ago? Of course she looks like her mommy and dad, but I thought I saw a resemblance. xo sally
