Lazy blogger!
The past few weeks have been crazy busy, what with Christmas, New Years, fixing up our new (to us) house, blogging has totally gone by the way side. Here are a few updates:
I am on a New Year health kick which I am celebrating by eating a potato pancake lunch, with sour cream! Seriously, I'm actually doing pretty well, and it's all about portion control. I am determined to get back to pre-domi weight, or at least pre-domi size, and am eating salad 5 days a week, and oatmeal for breakfast every day. We'll see if it works.
On a related child-oriented note, Domingo honest to God gags on mashed potatoes, making him eat them is seriously like a punishment. But he will gobbled down mashed potato pancakes. Who birthed this being? What kid hates mashed potatoes? He's not Norwegian or Paraguayan, I think he's alien.
Amalia is talking more than ever and her official cutest word to date is "PETE" pronounced in spanish and is her version of chupete, or pacifier. She yells Pe-te! when ever she finds one and it's the best thing ever. It is totally her lovey and I have a feeling it will be next to impossible to separate the two when the time comes. Yikes. What did I wish for when I begged Domi to take one.
I don't even have any pictures from the last few weeks to show, so I'll have to remedy that shortly!
